Blogtober | A Reminder

 A short but sweet reminder today, that you should always take time out for you, and the things that you love to do. I've struggled this week a bit because I have been so tired, but having such a lovely and generous family and friends has really picked my spirits up, I've had a fantastic birthday weekend and feel so very spoilt and grateful. When you feel low, or even just generally it is so important to take the time out to take a step back and enjoy what YOU like doing.

Have eight cups of tea a day. Go to 3 gym classes a week. Spend fantastic evenings drinking prosecco with your friends. Dip into your favourite book, or read a completely new one. Have a date night with your loved ones. Make the most of the time you have with your family, they are precious.

Sometimes it's easy to get caught up in what others think you should be doing, or what you think you should be doing according to what's "in" in society, so this is a little reminder to myself, and you if you think you need it, to just do what you love. Life is too short not to do so, which is why I will be spending my evening snuggled up on the sofa with Dan watching revenge, because that's exactly what I love to do.

A little reminder to relax, and enjoy yourself - taking time out for yourself will make you so much stronger and better for the things you don't enjoy as much as that bath, or those cups of tea. I work so much better when I've had time to myself, and to relax.
