So here I am, blogging every day in October. Expect the usual, with perhaps a couple of random sparks of creativity that just come to me whilst I am at work, or in the shower, or just about to fall asleep. We shall see how this goes! I think it will be great fun, and as October is my birthday month it will be so nice to look back on this month of birthday fun when I am older.
This little epiphany might be a blessing in disguise, or it might be an absolutely terrible idea. To start me off I have decide to tell you what I have been reading, eating and watching this past week.
The Dandelion Years - Erica James - I am only a couple of chapters into this book so far, but it is great. It tells the story of Saskia, her father and both her grandfathers who all live in a really old great big house together. Saskia and her father are book restorers/sellers which just sounds like an ideal job! I'd love to be surrounded by books all day.
Mum's Chicken Casserole - I adore a casserole. You can't beat coming home in the chilly weather and being greeted with a bowl of my mum's casserole. If you don't ever get a chance to try it, I truly feel for you. It is just like home in a bowl. I have been loving it with brown rice lately too which makes it even better for you!
Girls - I'm so late at watching this programme, but I've been liking it alot! It's funny, and very honest too. I'm definitely going to be watching the second season, although I doubt I will get it for as cheap as I got the first season (£3.50) - I love you CEX!
What have you been reading, eating and watching recently? Are you doing blogtober?
Girls is such a great show. I absolutely hated it when it first aired but decided to give it another go and ended up really enjoying it. Hopefully you'll be able to watch it for £3.50 again.
ReplyDeleteGood luck with Blogtober! I've decided to try it too and I'm already panicking about it, blogging every day in October is a little daunting.
Raise The Waves
Yeah I wasn't sure initially but it is really good, and I like it being 30 minutes too, makes it easier to watch on a work night which is great. Good luck to you too! It is a little bit daunting yes but it will be fun as well xx
